42AI Raised $62.5M to Predict Human Behavior. What Comes Next?

Imagine knowing how a customer might react before they make a decision. Not by asking them a question or analyzing their previous purchases, but by modeling the psychological tendencies and circumstances that influence their behavior.

That is the ambitious idea behind 42AI, an Israeli artificial intelligence startup that has emerged from stealth with $62.5 million in seed funding. Its technology, called a Behavioral World Model, aims to predict how individuals and AI agents behave in changing situations.

The company is already working with financial brokerages, where its technology is designed to anticipate how individual customers might respond to volatile market conditions. It claims to have datasets covering nearly 30 million people.

But the interesting part is bigger than financial services. If AI can understand the factors influencing human decisions, it could eventually change how businesses approach customer research, fraud prevention, cybersecurity and personalized services.

For founders, this raises an important opportunity: the next generation of AI startups may not just help people create things. They may help businesses understand what people are likely to do next.

However, predicting human behavior is a difficult problem, and the technology still has important limitations. So what exactly is 42AI building, and what can founders learn from its approach?

What Happened? 42AI Emerges With $62.5 Million

42AI announced its emergence from stealth on November 2, 2026, with $62.5 million in seed funding.

There is an important detail behind this figure. According to CEO Amit Gal Or, the funding was accumulated over three years from the founders and Infinity Group. It was not an entirely external venture capital round.

The company is led by CEO Amit Gal Or and CTO Ehud Ezra. Its team also includes specialists in artificial intelligence, psychology, neuroscience, genetics and behavioural research.

42AI says it spent three years developing its approach before bringing the technology to market.

Its initial commercial focus is financial brokerages. The company says it is already working with 10 large brokerage customers and generating revenue in the seven figure range, although it has not disclosed an exact revenue figure.

This matters because the startup is not presenting its technology as a research experiment alone. It is attempting to build a commercial product around a difficult scientific problem.

What Exactly Is a Behavioral World Model?

Most people are familiar with generative AI tools that produce text, images, videos or code.

42AI is pursuing a different direction.

Its system attempts to understand the underlying traits, motivations and circumstances that influence individual decisions. It then converts observations into mathematical representations that can be used to estimate how someone might respond to a particular situation.

For example, imagine a customer who regularly interacts with a financial services company.

The system could analyse information such as customer support interactions, transactions, onboarding activity and responses to different events. It uses these signals to construct a behavioural profile and estimate possible future decisions.

The company uses a transformer based world model to generate behavioural predictions. A separate language model can then explain those predictions.

The important distinction is that 42AI is trying to model why people behave in certain ways, rather than simply repeating patterns from their previous actions.

This is still probabilistic prediction, not mind reading. Human decisions are influenced by changing circumstances, unexpected events and information that an AI system may never observe.

How Does 42AI Make Money?

42AI follows a business to business model.

Rather than selling an individual AI assistant to consumers, it provides predictive intelligence to organisations that need to understand customer behavior and manage uncertainty.

Its first major application is helping financial brokerages anticipate customer activity and manage their exposure.

The company says its technology can help predict trading direction and volume, allowing customers to plan liquidity and manage risk.

According to the CEO, one brokerage generated approximately $30 million in additional value through dynamic hedging. This is a company reported customer outcome, not an independently verified performance result.

42AI says customers pay either a flat fee or a percentage of the value its platform helps generate.

Beyond financial services, the company is exploring fraud prevention, cybersecurity, gaming and applications involving AI agents and robotics.

This expansion could create opportunities across several industries, but each new sector will require the model to understand its own rules and context.

The Market Is Getting Crowded. 42AI Is Not Alone

42AI is entering a market that is already attracting serious investor attention.

One notable company is Simile, which is developing AI systems that simulate human behavior for business decisions.

Simile raised $100 million in February 2026 and subsequently announced another $200 million Series B at a $2 billion valuation in July 2026.

Its applications include customer research, product decisions and simulations that help organisations understand how people might respond to different scenarios.

There is an important distinction between the approaches.

42AI initially focuses on predicting individual behavior in financial environments, while Simile is building simulations for broader business and population level decisions.

Both companies point towards a larger opportunity: helping organisations test decisions before committing significant resources.

For founders, this is worth watching. AI powered customer research could become an important business category as companies look for faster ways to test products, marketing strategies and customer experiences.

However, startups entering this space will need more than an impressive model. They will need reliable data, measurable results and a clear reason for customers to pay.
